Museum introduction
The predecessor of the Financial Museum and Bank Museum, the Bank of Shanghai Museum, officially opened in 2000. It is the first financial industry Museum in China established by ICBC. With the development history of China's modern banks as the main line, the exhibition presents a panoramic view of China's financial situation for a hundred years, and collects China's profound financial culture.
The Museum of Finance and bank is composed of preface hall, temporary exhibition hall, history hall and multi-functional report hall. The history museum is divided into three parts. The first part is to connect the whole world, spread the west to the East - traditional Chinese credit institutions and modern foreign financial institutions in China. The exhibition shows the activities of traditional credit institutions such as bank, bank, bill, pawn and other financial institutions, as well as foreign banks, insurance and other financial institutions in China in modern times. The exhibits are mainly paper money, bills, seals, badges, machines, publications and business publicity materials issued and used by these institutions, including more than 100 seals used by the banking industry and the first foreign bank in China, Li Li Such as old stocks issued by banks in China and a large number of rare foreign bank notes. The second part is about the rise of Chinese financial institutions and the financial industry before liberation. It shows the rise and development of various kinds of early modern Chinese financial institutions, the construction of the national financial center and its related situation, and the history of the financial collapse of the Guotong district before liberation. This part mainly displays all kinds of cultural relics of modern Chinese financial institutions, among which there are many unique products, especially the museum "treasure of town hall" - a group of steel carving plates used by American banknote company when printing banknotes for many domestic banks at that time. The third part is the financial industry since the founding of the people's Republic of China. It mainly shows the development of the banks in the revolutionary base areas, the establishment of the people's Bank of China, the main measures of the financial industry in the early days of the people's Republic of China, and the great development of the financial industry in China after the reform and opening up.  This section shows a large number of currencies in the revolutionary base areas and liberated areas, the letter of appointment of bank cadres issued by Premier Zhou Enlai, and the first to fifth sets of RMB, including the 10000 yuan "mumattu" and other precious paper currency known as the "ticket king" of RMB.
Facing the wind
Having seen the China Pavilion of the World Expo, I will be deeply impressed by the large dynamic Qingming Riverside map. The images are bustling with people, horses and boats, all of which are moved by projection technology, presenting the prosperity of Bianjing in the Northern Song Dynasty a thousand years ago. Walking into the hall of the Bank Museum, you can see a miniature dynamic "riverside map of Qingming". In the area of Xiaodongmen, Shanghai in the late Qing Dynasty, the prosperous business exchanges did not lose Bianliang, which also promoted the development of the financial industry. Not far away, there are sixteen bunches of masts. Western ships enter from Huangpu River with the sound of sirens. Workers carry goods on the wharf, presenting a grand picture of modern financial development.
The legacy of Shanxi Merchants
Yu Qiuyu once called it "the grandfather of the countryside" in China's banking industry, and it was also one of the local credit institutions in modern China. The first ticket company in China is Rishengchang, which was born in Pingyao, Shanxi Province. It enjoys the reputation of connecting the world. Now, you can see the style of Rishengchang ticket company without "Shanghai". The new museum has set up a ticket number scene of Rishengchang, with exquisite carved doors and windows, gold lettered signboards, which are completely copied from the old site of Pingyao. The projection in the gate gives a detailed introduction to the generation, development, business types, business philosophy and anti-counterfeiting secret pledge of the ticket number, which makes people fully appreciate the style of the ticket number.
Money industry pursuit
In fact, these sayings are all from the pithy formula of abacus. China is the hometown of abacus. Although abacus has been basically withdrawn from daily use, it is the basic skill for a small man to settle down in a bank. There is a copper sculpture of the shopkeeper holding an abacus in the museum's Bank. The table below is a multimedia screen. The audience can learn about abacus calculation according to the prompts, do a small test in the hall, and compare with the shopkeeper.
Blending the west wind
This is the most luxurious building from Bering Strait in the Far East to Suez Canal. HSBC Shanghai Branch building is undoubtedly a bright pearl embedded in The Bund World Architecture Expo Group. In 1997, the dome mural reappeared, adding a touch of light to the building. The dome of the building has the 12 palaces of the zodiac and the ceiling paintings of the sun god and the moon god. The surrounding areas are eight cities with branches around the world of HSBC. In the exhibition hall of foreign banks, we used colored glass to show the style and features of the dome murals of HSBC, and made a detailed introduction to the murals and the history of HSBC through multimedia.
